#95: Let's Get Personal with Laura Ryan, Associate at Korngut Paleudis LLC

Law can be your second career! Today, Laura Ryan is an associate at Korngut Paleudis LLC in New York City, but before graduating from law school in 2024, she worked in restaurants and hospitality for nearly 15 years. A shift in the hospitality industry led Laura to law school - and now, she practices law in the areas of hospitality, alcoholic beverage, real estate, and corporate law, serving clients such as restaurant and bar owners. This conversation with Laura is a great perspective both on law as a second career and on how you can use the skills, relationships, and interests you developed prior to law school to create a practice that works for you.

Laura Ryan is an associate at Korngut Paleudis LLC in New York City, and practices in the areas of hospitality, alcoholic beverage, real estate, and corporate law. Her clients are mostly bars and restaurants, as well as liquor, beer, and wine producers.

Prior to law school, Laura worked in restaurants and hospitality.

She graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2024, and Georgetown University in 2007.
